Cool-lanyards was born four years ago out of a necessity for style. As a full-time high tech employee, Owner/Designer Nora Marroquin was desperate to find a more fashionable alternate to the standard badge lanyards issued at work.
Once these fashionable beaded lanyards made an appearance around the office, friends and co-workers began to request beaded lanyards to purchase for themselves. Soon after that, Nora set up an online boutique to exclusively sell her handcrafted beaded lanyards. In addition Nora sells her pieces at shows around the city and continues to sell lanyards to friends and co-workers.
Living in one of the most dynamic and artistic cities in the U.S. enables Nora to find unique and exquisite stones and materials to create her pieces.
